Wind damage in Temple City
Taken with my camera phone on December 1, 2011. The night before was a great wind storm with gusts up to 70 MPH. Many trees were uprooted in my neighborhood and surrounding areas.

This Summer and Fall there have been a slew of large spiders in my front yard. I even found a praying mantis in the back yard one evening. Enjoy the suburban wildlife on exhibit!
Some jiggle issues from the tripod I used but the focus was better than the last shoot. 20 minute show from the barge, some 6 inch shells in this show. Beautiful to watch. Photos straight from the camera, enjoy!
This year I had a few little problems with my photos. First of all I used a different tripod that doesn't keep the camera from wobbling during exposure as well as my usual tripod does. The shakes add some fun curves and ripples to the fireworks. The other problem is that I was a little bit out of focus. The good thing about that is an interesting starlight effect on the brighter elements. These are completely straight out of the camera so enjoy.
P.S. I snuck in a zoom in or out here and there during exposure creating some interesting effects.
